Weaver and Tidwell, L.L.P. was founded on February 1, 1950, by Lloyd J. Weaver and D. Wayne Tidwell. Headquartered in Fort Worth, Texas, the Firm established an office in Dallas in the 1960's. In the late 1980's, leadership of the Firm shifted from the founding partners, to W.M. (Mack) Lawhon, CPA, who remains the Firm's managing partner. Under his direction, the Firm has undergone expansion through internal growth as well as the completion of four mergers.
