2/12/2007 -Weaver and Tidwell Promotes Jody Allred and Michelle Yankovich to Senior Managers of the Firm’s Rapidly Growing Risk Advisory Services Group
DALLAS-FORT WORTH, TEXAS (Feb. 12, 2007) – Weaver and Tidwell, L.L.P., announces the promotions of Joseph (Jody) R. Allred, CPA and Michelle Yankovich, CPA to senior managers of the firm’s Risk Advisory Services Group.

The addition of senior management to this service is in support of the service expansion and market demand. Weaver and Tidwell’s Risk Advisory Services group has grown to 26 professionals in 3 markets, and has experienced growth of approximately 20% in the distribution and energy markets. It has also experienced significant growth in the public sector and banking markets. The group provides services such as fraud prevention, internal audit, IT audit, quality assurance reviews (QAR), Sarbanes Oxley compliance, SAS 70 and consulting. With offices in Dallas, Fort Worth and Houston, Weaver and Tidwell is ranked by Practical Accountant magazine as the Southwest’s largest regional independent accounting firm.

Joseph (Jody) R. Allred, CPA
Allred has more than 8 years of public accounting experience, primarily concentrated in assurance and risk management solutions for a wide variety of companies including those in the oil and gas, construction, manufacturing, non-profit and technology sectors. He holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in accounting from Abilene Christian University. Allred is a member of American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Institute of Internal Auditors as well as Texas Society of CPAs and its Fort Worth chapter.

Michelle Yankovich, CPA
Yankovich has more than 1 2 years of public accounting experience, including assurance and risk management, tax preparation, accounting assistance and consulting. She  has experience in assisting clients with business plan preparation, internal control reviews, and management audits . She earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Alaska. Yankovich is a member of  the American Society of Certified Public Accountants  and the Institute of Internal Auditors.
