DALLAS-FORT WORTH, TEXAS (June 1, 2007) – Samuel F. Wren, CPA, has been named a tax partner with Weaver and Tidwell, L.L.P. With offices in Dallas, Fort Worth and Houston, Weaver and Tidwell is ranked by Practical Accountant magazine as the Southwest’s largest regional independent accounting firm.
Wren has significant experience serving clients in the energy and real estate industries. He also has more than 15 years of experience in public accounting, with a practice emphasis in taxation planning and compliance, including partnerships, corporations and individuals.
He currently serves the Petroleum Accountants Society of Fort Worth as board member and small oil and gas committee chair. He is also a member of American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Leadership Fort Worth, TCU Alumni Association and Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants, Fort Worth chapter. He is a former board member of YMCA Camp Carter and volunteers with both American Red Cross and United Way.
Wren earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Texas Christian University.
